Over spring break, Aizlynn Velgara reached an incredible milestone—she successfully passed the practical portion of the Texas Cosmetology Exams! She is now officially licensed by the State of Texas to provide professional hair, skin, and nail services.

We are beyond proud of Aizlynn’s dedication, hard work, and perseverance in achieving this certification. Her success is a testament to the outstanding opportunities available through Slaton ISD’s Career and Technology programs. With the guidance of instructor Jessica McBride, Aizlynn gained hands-on experience and real-world skills that have prepared her for a successful career in cosmetology.
