Headed to Nationals

High School FCCLA students competed in Dallas at the State FCCLA conference this weekend, and two teams took top awards! 

Entrepreneurship - Emiley Garcia and Makenna Polozola placed 2nd and earned a spot in the National Competition in Seattle! 

Hospitality, Tourism, & Recreation - Halle Ashley and Alexia Anderson placed 3rd and are alternates for Nationals! 

Our other competitors did not earn top spots, but they each represented Slaton with class. Chef Kelly, Ms Pugh, and Miss Rhoades are so proud of the hard work and dedication these students put in to develop strong leadership projects and skills. Slaton is proud of you Tigers!!
