Application Process

ALL APPLICANTS: You must submit a Slaton ISD Application to be considered for employment. Depending upon the position for which you are applying, the application process may vary. Please find the position below for which you are applying and follow all instructions. After we have received your application and it has been processed, applicants will be contacted via telephone if an interview is necessary. Interviews will be arranged based upon review of your completed application and job vacancies. A completed application must be on file with personnel prior to any interview

 To apply please print out and complete the applicable forms listed below.

Current Slaton ISD employees who wish to apply for any position should submit a letter of interest.

Applications

Use the professional application if you are applying for the following positions: principal, assistant principal, teacher, coach, librarian, counselor, diagnostician, speech language pathologist, or nurse.

Use the support application if you are applying for the following positions: instructional aide, clerical/secretarial staff, or technology, custodial, maintenance, or nutrition/food service staff.

Slaton ISD accepts applications for substitute teachers and support staff on a year-round basis.

Please print out all forms and mail completed forms to:  Slaton ISD, Personnel Department, 140 E. Panhandle Street, Slaton, TX 79364.
