Stephen F. Austin's
slogan is, Taking Care of Business."
Our dual goals at this 4th and 5th grade
campus are the development of excellence in
academics and the development of exemplary
character.
Our students and staff begin each day focusing on
their goals in an all school assembly.
This allows students and staff to be united
in purpose as a community of learners.
Parents and the community are considered to
be part of our team and are encouraged to
participate in our many activities.
We celebrate our many successes and "catch"
students being good by giving frequent rewards.
Some of our special activities include:
Reading Counts Program,
Character Counts! assemblies and media shows,
Fiestas Celebration, Veterans Day Program,
Black History Assemblies, Newcomb Tournament,
Buddy Field Day, Travel Across Texas, Saturday
Schools, Parent Appreciation Luncheons, Books &
Bar-B-Que Night, Talent Show, Honors Choir, and UIL
competition.
Team SFA has reached TEA's.
Most importantly, SFA students should make
positive contributions as productive citizens to
their community.
