The
Slaton Independent School District is led by a Board of Trustees elected by
the community. The Board of Trustees governs the district by adopting policy
and regulations.

Regular Board meetings are
scheduled for 7 p.m. on the second Tuesday of each month in the district's
Administration Building, 140 E Panhandle Street, Slaton. When necessary,
the Board may change public Board meetings to other days or may hold special
meetings, emergency meetings or work sessions as needed. Advance
notices of all meetings are distributed to the news media and are posted at
the Administration Building.
